Math -- We did our daily math quiz and completed surface area and volume word problems. I will be giving a quiz on Friday (which we will correct in class) and students will be able to use that quiz as a study guide for Tuesday's assessment.
ELA - I distributed the term 5 projects (parents, if you want your own copy for at home, please let me know). Students also began working on a sentence review packet. They will also use this to study for Tuesday's sentence assessment.
***Tybee Announcments***
(don't worry... it will all be over soon...) : )
1. Medication --> I will be at the school on Monday for a teacher workday. If you don't get your child's medication and medication form to me on Friday, you can drop it off on Monday.
2. S'mores --> (I was just told about this one... SORRY!) We do s'mores one night at Tybee so we need enough graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate for our class (28). Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
3. Pi Day --> Wednesday, March 14th is Pi day and the other classes are giving out the miniature moonpies during lunch. If a parent volunteer (or two) can purchase some for the class (28) that would be wonderful.
Thank you to the parents who have already volunteered time and/or snacks. If you can help please just email me or drop off what you can. I'll also update the blog as we receive things so we don't have duplicates.
Already received: lunch bags, 2 parent volunteers on the morning of Tuesday, March 13th to help prepare snack bags.
