Parent Teacher Conferences

This year Ms. McFaddin and I will be using VolunteerSpot to set up conferences with parents after MAP testing to discuss scores and establish academic goals. Please click on the link below to select a conference time.  The early morning times are reserved for phone conferences; however, any of the other times can be either in-person or on the phone (just specify which you prefer in the comments section).

5th Grade Supply List

We are looking forward to seeing you back here at the Academy!  Make sure you are ready for school by bringing the following supplies: 

·               3 packs pre-sharpened #2 pencils

·               1 small handheld pencil sharpener

·               1 pack of Expo markers

·               2 packs wide ruled notebook paper

·               4 composition notebooks

·               1 two inch binder

·               1 pack of 5 dividers with pocket

·               3 folders (3 pronged with pocket)

·               1 pack of color sharpies

·               3 packs of post-it notes

·               1 protractor

·               2 packs of Lysol/Clorox wipes

·               1 roll of paper towels

·               1 pack of facial tissues

·               1 bottle of hand sanitizer

·               Earbuds- for your child's individual use.  Please label and put in a plastic baggie.

NOTES:

•               Tissue, wipes and paper towel rolls will be requested again when we run out. (I also will take gift cards to Walmart and Target during the year so I can buy supplies as needed - some parents prefer this.)

•               Some of these items will be used communally. As such, please purchase generic versions of each item and do not label your child’s name on any item. Save specially decorated notebooks, folders, etc. for use at home.

•               TO KEEP AT HOME: You will need to have the following items available for use at home – pencils, color pencils/markers, ruler, and paper.

•               MEDIA CENTER: We would love a donation of a box of facial tissue.

•               SUPPLIES FOR MUSIC:  New students to CSD bring $5 for a recorder (also applies to students who lost recorder issued last year)
