Today we began our new Unit of Inquiry: How the World Works. One of our concept lenses this term is connection and during social studies we began exploring how WWI, the Great Depression, and WWII are connected. Before the reading, students discussed with others at their tables about what they thought the connections were. After we complete the reading, we will revisit the question and complete that inquiry.
During ELA we corrected our daily grammar and we continued reading Messenger. Students are focusing on locating text evidence and using that evidence to form logical arguments.
