This week in ELA we are focusing on supporting our explanations with text evidence. We are also going to work on understanding and using figurative language in our writing. In social studies were are shifting our focus to The Great Depression. Students will learn about the causes and conditions of that time and they will work with each other to understand the various perspectives of people at that time.
Homework
-Vocabulary - quiz on Friday, February 5th
-Social Studies - Great Depression Causes organizer
-Read for 30 minutes daily (yes...even weekends)
-Math homework
