ELA -- Today students took notes on clauses (independent and dependent) and learned about prepositional phrases. Students also started writing down the definitions of this week's vocabulary words.
Science -- Students took notes on fungi, protists, and the six kingdom classification system.
Math -- Students practiced solving multi-digit multiplication problems using the distributive property and the traditional method. We then worked on interpreting word problems and figuring out how to write mathematical explanations.
