ELA -- We reviewed our discussion and classroom behavior expectations and students took notes on the different types of sentences. The 5th grade writing test is on March 7th and I will be focusing on writing between now and then.
Social Studies -- Students received an organizer so they could start gathering and discussing all the World War II terms/concepts.
Math -- Students took a pre-test; this term we will be covering capacity, volume, liters, and gallons. Also, each Thursday I will teach a mini-lesson on math concepts I covered in past terms.
Homework packets went home today and there aren't any vocabulary words this week.
