Today we focused on learning about key Civil War battles.  Students used a timeline and a Civil War battles website to place the battles in chronological order and find out which side was victorious.  Students then worked their partners to create an emotional timeline with the information they found in their web search.

We also completed a grammar review and continued reading Gathering Blue.  

As a reminder, our picture day is tomorrow and homework is due.  Also, students may want to look at the website we were using today.  They were very disciplined and they only looked at the required sections of the website.  The website is called Civil War Trust.  (civilwar.org)
