Wednesday, May 7th
Today we finished analyzing Dr. King's "Letter from the Birmingham Jail." Tomorrow I will be assessing students in standard ELACCRI8 (explain how an author uses reasons and evidence to support particular points in a text, identifying which reasons and evidence supports which points.) The notes we took today and yesterday are below. Additionally, students had about 30 minutes of writing time to work on their favorite F.AVE memory memoir. They will receive the rubric tomorrow and their stories are due next Friday (5/16). We also continued reading Son.
