Wednesday, February 10th

Today students continued working on their summative narratives and we finished reading and discussing the first chapter of Messenger.  Then students reviewed figurative language and worked on understanding the meaning of some common idioms.  

We concluded with social studies and watching a video on the Great Depression and New Deal.  Yesterday students were instructed to bring their study guides so they could complete them as they watched the video.  I've attached it under the social studies links for students who didn't follow this direction or who didn't write the answers during class time.
