ELA -- Students worked on their narrative writing piece. They selected their idea (out of several ideas they came up with during brain-storming), created a title, identified the moral of their stories, and wrote/revised their first sentence.
Science/Social Studies -- Students completed their science projects and worked on their FDR/Great Depression/New Deal notes.
Math -- Mr. Wither's taught a lesson on circumference, pi and diameter. Students measured the circumferences and diameters of various objects and used those calculations to determine that when you divide a circumference of an object by that object's diameter you get Pi (or something close to it.)
Announcement: Due to the recent project work our glue supply is completely depleted. Please send glue and/or glue sticks. Thanks!
